Vow #2:  I promise to always pursuit my two!  Here was the handout:

THE VOW OF PURSUIT

VOW #1: I promise that God will be my #1 priority and my spouse will be my #2.

VOW #2: I promise to always PURSUE my TWO.

1. By nature, we pursue what we DON’T have.

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. Genesis 2:24

1. We judge our spouse by his or her ACTIONS and ourselves by our INTENTIONS.

Closing the gap between our intentions and our actions.

1)    When you think something good, SAY it. (Hebrews 3:13)

1. Pursue her with words of affection.
2. Pursue him with words of affirmation.

2)    When you think something special, DO it. (James 4:17)

3)    When you want something different, BE it. (Romans 12:2)

1. a. To get what you’ve never had, you must do what you’ve never done.
2. b. To get what you once had, you must do what you once did. (Revelation 2:5)

CHRIST is pursuing you!

Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? Luke 15:4
